Pakistan v West Indies 1st Test Day 3
Windies poised for heavy defeat
First Test, Lahore, day three (stumps): West Indies 206 & 74-3 v Pakistan 485
Pakistan maintained their dominant position over West Indies after day three in Lahore, with the tourists 74-3 in their second innings, 205 behind.
After Mohammad Yousuf's 192 had taken Pakistan to 485, the Windies lost both openers in just five overs of cricket.
When Ramnaresh Sarwan was lbw to Umar Gul shortly before stumps, it completed another excellent day for Pakistan.
Earlier, Daren Ganga had been run out by Imran Farhat's direct hit before Chris Gayle nicked a Gul outswinger.
West Indies face a real struggle now simply to avoid an innings defeat and Pakistan will hope for a victory before play enters the fifth day.
Yousuf surged past 1,300 runs for the calendar year before being stumped, batting for eight and a half hours.
